About me:
My name is Claudia and I am TheTravellingGermanTeacher.
Born and raised in Germany, I am now living in the Austrian capital Vienna and teaching German as a foreign language. Apart from my mother tongue German, I speak English, Spanish and French.
After finishing my studies I worked as a teacher of German and English at the Rittersberg Gymnasium in Kaiserslautern. Since 2015 I have worked as a freelance language teacher for German as a foreign language in Vienna and since Octobre 2017 also as an online-teacher.
It's great fun and it is a real enrichment for me to help a learning person. It gives me pleasure to use my empathic skills and knowledge in order to help others. I appreciate the cooperation with other people and see it as a very meaningful, challenging and rewarding task.

My Story
It all started ...
… when I was the first man in South America and I also had my own difficulties communicating with locals. I had inhibitions about making mistakes. ... it is actually not easy to learn a new language. But I've discovered the secret to quickly improve my language skills: trust.
So I know exactly how I can help you and how I can encourage you, at every opportunity, to practice the foreign language. You'll be safe in your job soon, because you can talk to your colleagues. You will soon receive many compliments to your German and will be motivated to speak more and improve your German, to make better contacts, and to have the opportunity to be with locals.
